After an excellent night’s sleep, enjoy a delicious, leisurely breakfast served at our large table with views overlooking the mature gardens.
Freshly cooked to order, we use home-made and fresh local produce where possible.
If you have particular dietary requirements or preferences, please let us know when making your booking so that we can ensure we provide an enjoyable alternative for you.

The Full Scottish Breakfast
Free range eggs how you like them – scrambled, fried or poached
Choose from bacon, pork sausage, black pudding, haggis
sautéed mushrooms, roasted tomato and homemade potato scone

Boiled egg with toasted butter ‘soldiers’
Peppered mackerel with poached egg

Smoked salmon with creamy scrambled egg
Baked croissant bursting with bacon and brie
Stir fried butterbeans, mushrooms and tomatoes
topped with a poached or fried egg, served on a homemade potato scone

Steaming bowl of porridge
with a choice of accompaniments

Pastry and Bread Basket

Croissants and pains au chocolat
Pauline’s homemade muffins and fruit bread
Toasted bread with choice of Northland’s jams, whisky marmalade or local honey

Our Suppliers

Our eggs are organic from third generation farmers Ian and Alison Nivenat Gloagburn Farm, Perth.

Bacon, Sausage, Haggis, Black Pudding
All supplied by Grants of Speyside, a family butcher that goes back five generations.

Smoked Salmon
From a small, family-run artisan smokehouse situated in Dunkeld

Tattie Scones
Home-made to a traditional recipe using Scottish potatoes.

Marmalade & Jams
All home-made with Scottish fruits when possible.
Strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant, rhubarb & vanilla and orange & whisky marmalade

We use local honey, either Heather or Blossom … depends what’s available at the time.

Milk, Butter, Crème Frais and Cheese are all Scottish
